Critical Decision Systems was founded in Kansas in 1996 by Jim Enright. We have been in continuous existence since then (save for a recent brief hiatus). CDS is currently incorporated in Florida and, along with its strategic partners and extended resources, is heavily focused on pursuing business opportunities that bring rigorous financial analysis and sophisticated decisioning software to bear on business operations and economic problems in general. Our current top priority is to re-structure the Mail Channel marketing industry by placing its operations on a sound, economically rational, foundation.
ABOUT US
A Brief Overview of CRITICAL DECISION SYSTEMS
For over 35 years (since 1983), Jim Enright has been providing high profile analytics solutions and management consulting services, primarily to Fortune 50 and 100 corporations, that typically focused on the following areas of expertise:
The top three projects that best define CDS interests and capabilities are:
• The Fannie Mae STAR Program
Solution architect for the metadata driven analytics software system that generated economically rational comparative performance ratings for Servicers in the Mortgage Servicing Industry. Ratings were used to drive re-allocation of Servicing Rights to improve Fannnie Mae’s Loss Mitigation efforts.
• McKinsey Long Term Capital Assessment Program
Solution Architect for the metadata driven analytics software system that calculated numerous, wide-ranging, and nuanced Return on Capital (along
with many other) metrics for S&P firms in user defined industrial sectors. Comparative metrics provided primary analysis to identify firms
that consistently under/out performed their industrial sector competitors over long periods of time.
• International Planning and Research Regression Automation System
Solution Architect for a metadata-driven system that enabled users to specify regression specifications (e.g. Left Hand Side Variables, Right Hand
Side Variables, mathematical transformations of LHSV and RHSV, and regression procedure options (e.g. Stepwise Forward and Backward)),
through manipulation of metadata table entries (rather than manual code changes). Objective of the system was to automate the mass production
and analysis of large numbers of wide ranging alternative regression models and comparative statistics thereof on a monthly basis.
